What Happens During A No-Obligation Estimate Appointment?

We keep it simple. A Project Designer (or Account Manager for business projects) will arrive on your schedule. Typically, we measure the space and assess site conditions (like subfloor and transitions) and learn about expectations you have for the project. Then we know what types of products to bring in and recommend. We’ll narrow down your choices and provide your quote either on the spot or within a day or two if more info is needed.

Seriously, that is correct. You can certainly browse products at our lovely showroom – we’d love to have you – but bringing products you want to see in your space, at your convenience, is a personalized way for you to shop. It’s all about you. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Most consultations take about 45–90 minutes depending on the number of rooms, how many samples you want to see, and how much guidance you’d like. We never rush the appointment. We give you the time and confidence to explore what will best fit your expectations and your home or business.

With Blakley’s wide domestic and global product assortment there are few limitations; carpet made of wool, nylon, and new PET yarn; a virtually endless selection of waterproof resilient plank and tile styles; scratch-resistant laminate flooring; hardwoods, both domestics and exotics – there really is something for every scope and budget.

If you’d like, prior to the appointment you can email us inspiration photos or ideas. This will help us to identify styles and colors to bring. But this is certainly not required. Not much for you to do to prepare. Oh, there’s this: keep an open mind. Based on jobsite conditions and your expectations we might suggest a product or approach that you weren’t considering. This happens fairly often during a professional consultation.
